A Corrimal business woman has been named Sydney Business Woman of the Year. Camtu Pham, CEO of CleverLink Internet, Technology and Graphics, was awarded the top prize out of 18 finalists.
She started her company in 1998 and by 2003 was rated among top IT companies such as Yahoo, Nokia and Canon.
Corrimal woman Camtu Pham was named the Sydney Business Woman of the Year for 2005 at a function on Friday night.
The managing director of internationally-recognised company CleverLink which offered web design and e-commerce consultancy services, came to Australia from Vietnam in her early teens, when she could not speak a word of English.

Camtu Pham of CleverLink Internet-Technology-Graphics at Corrimal on the NSW South Coast, has won the prestigious award, Sydney Business Woman of the Year 2005. Camtu, who arrived in Australia from Vietnam in her early teens without a word of English, heads up the IT enterprise which offers web design and e-commerce consultancy services. The Managing Director of this internationally acclaimed company lectures at the University of Wollongong, is an author, mother and a much-in-demand public speaker in Australia and overseas.

fast-growing business --- and
loving it.
Camtu started her working
career with the Department of
Defence in Canberra before
returning to Wollongong in 1996
where she was employed as a
project leader at the University
of Wollongong.
She's been labelled by an international communications outlet as the 'Network Queen from Wollongong', but it's her own personal story that helps her motivate others at home and abroad.

The honour came with Corporate Research Foundation International's launch of Top ICT companies in Australia 2nd Edition at a function at Darling Harbour late last year.
A Corrimal IT company has been recognised as one of the top IT companies in Australia. CleverLink Internet Services was awarded the honour at a Corporate Research Foundation International book launch at Darling Harbour last week after ICT journalist David Braue, of Tech & Biz and The Age, nominated the Corrimal business to be featured in the second edition of Top ICT companies in Australia.
CleverLink has been listed in the Top ICT companies in Australia publication. The book was launched on 27th Nov 2003 at Darling Habour by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF).

CleverLink was proud to be part of the Illawarra ICT Forum on the 6th of November 2003, which was organised by the NSW State and Regional Development. This full day event showcased many strengths, innovations and opportunities for the ICT industry in the Illawarra region.
All Illawarra initiative helping university students develop leadership and business skills has produced its first graduates.
The Student Leadership and Business Development Program, a UniCentre initiative driven by the Centre for Student Development, has run twice in 2002, and 92 students have completed training courses and work experience.
